Default oil cooler fan problem.

Hi there i have an 05 quad cab 5.7 with an oil cooler and as soon as I turn my fan switch on for my heater the oil cooler fan comes on right away and will turn off only when i turn my heater switch off. what could be going on, what temp is the oil cooler fan supposed to come on? the heat and ac work fine but the fan being on all the time doesnt seem right or is this normal?
Thanks

Oil cooler? Sounds like the oil cooler is wired into the fan switch. Where is the fan?

Condenser fan, perhaps? This would explain why it comes on with the blower motor.
