I put the 5 speed cup holder/console in mine, and just made the 5 speed hole into a storage container. Works and looks pretty good.

I have 3 cup holders on it...but, you'd have 2 if you have a 4wd lever (one cup holder is in place of the lever for 2wd).

I replaced two of these with the factory OEM drink holders at 110 a piece. The last time it broke I went to home depot bought a box of thin chain and some self tapping screws and painted chain black (so u can barely see it), measured to desired drop, cut chain, drilled 4 holes and mounted chains.

This fix/mod has been going strong for 4 + years now and really doesnt look that bad. I also bought the drink holders that mounts to the centerconsole. Rasing the close pin was kind of a pain but ai got it to work.

Good luck.

My Dodge Ram 1500 cup holder is made too weak in my opinion and was easily broken. This is the part that broke. I modeled it and printed a replacement. The part was a bit complex and has lots of curves, but this version is holding together so far in my truck. Feel free to improve upon it. I will provide an updated version should the one in my truck be found insufficient. Good Luck and I hope this part helps someone.
Here are the files to print your own replacement if you have access to a 3D printer
