Default Spectre cold air intake

I was at autozone in town today picking up some parts for my sister's car and decided to take a gander at some of the performance parts that they MIGHT have in stock for my 95 ram and found a nice cold air intake for 160 bucks that included the heat sheilding box. I bought it and installed on my truck and I have to say that it fits perfectly with the only problem being that the hose supplied for the PCV valve was too short because my valve is on the left valve cover opposed the the right. Took me less than a half hour to install and with the 100+ bucks I saved opposed to the K&N kit i can get the paint and body work done to my truck. Just thought I would share that with my fellow ram owners

Did adding the intake get you any better mileage? if so how much?

to be honest I don't know cause I had to fix my truck (it was getting a little better than 4 mpg) I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and o2 sensor. but with the addition of the above items and the cold air intake i am seeing around 20 mpg on my heavy 2500. I know it is more responsive and will out run my cousin's 01 1500 with the 5.2 and K&N filter.

Nice man, I've heard good things about spectre. They will even send you tubing and filters, and then you build your own set-up and send it back, they will weld it then you will be charged accordingly. There is some insane setups. Their silverado has 3 intakes.
