Default 2010 Ram SLT 275/60/20 tire question......

I pull a 6600 lb. 5th wheel trailer with a pin weight of 860 + 200 lb 5th wheel hitch. The truck is rated for approximately 1350 lbs. payload, but my OEM tires, Goodyears 275/60/20 that came on the truck new, does not handle that weight well at all unless I put 45 psi in the rear tires. The tires are load rated at 114 for 2640 lbs each. I am about ready to change the tires to a LT tire rated at 119 for 3000 lbs. Does anybody have any advice. Thanks. Also I installed Timbrens load levers and the truck sits nice and level when loaded.

The stock tires that come on the trucks in the that size suck period!

As for looking for a load range E around a bit to see what suits your driving needs, do you need a good all season? what a beefier looking tire? something good for snow? get pricing not sure how much your looking to spend but if your going to be towing any type of wieght like you plan an upgrade would be highly recommended!
