It seems that the dealership around here is most concerned with maintaining their "5 star rating". I called my salesman when I realized that they hadn't given me a full tank, (we were doing the paperwork pretty much past close of business so as soon as he handed me the keys he was hauling ass). I had about a half a tank. When I talked to him he told me that the dealership no longer gives a full tank of gas on trucks, but he'd "take care of me".

He conveniently forgot about it. I gave 'em a 3 rating on both surveys that I took for customer satisfaction, and said that I'd be more likely to buy from somebody else next time. It didn't take 2 days and I got a call from the General Manager of the dealership, he agreed to give me a free tank of gas, and a discount coupon for the cost of labor on what he called "mod service". (I figured he was talking to the salesman and knew that I would be eventually getting the u-Connect installed).

Although I didn't change my "rating" I did change my mind about buying elsewhere, as he tried to fix the mistake

Our dealership in Hilton Head, SC for the first month with all of our vehicles, makes it a point to refill our tank if we have to go to the dealership for service or paperwork. This (their customer service) is why we opt to go to there instead of our local Savannah, GA Dodge dealership.

Well my Super Bee came with full tank of gas but the RAM I own didn't even have 1/4 tank. The Bee was picked up 4 blocks from my home. The RAM was 96 miles from where I live. The only reason for going to the further dealer was price. The local dealer could or would not meet what the other dealer was offering both on trade and cost of truck. Well worth having to buy my own gas. Saved over 8K by going there. Besides any warranty or other service I go locally.

Our dealership gives a full tank (I actually got two full tanks because they had to dealer trade to get my truck so they gave me a new loaner in the mean time with a full tank) and they give a free roadhazard tire warranty so no problems here...

Yup, the dealer I work with is fantastic. Full tank of gas, fully detailed, never any issues on anything that pops up with my truck.

Plus one when I bought my truck from a dealership in Houston. They took care of everything (full tank and detail job) while we finished the paperwork and then pulled it around front. Sounds like the customer service at the OPs dealer is subpar to say the least.

All of my new trucks have been cleaned and a full tank of gas. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I got a full tank of gas - and since they messed up some paperwork........I had them fill it up again! I drove the first 600 miles or so on them.

I got a full tank of gas and a half a$$ detail job. Left them a horrible rating and the sales manager was on the phone with me the next day. They resolved my issues, redetailed the truck (this time with no tire slime) and gave me 10 free oil changes. Hopefully they will also cut me a deal on the Trailer Brake Controller when it shows up. It started off rocky but they have earned my trust again.
