This is a really great thread and I remembered that after I read it again tonight. I thought I would bump it up a little for those of you that might have missed it. Please ask me any questions you may have. Thanks

Incinr8 is on a distinguished road
Default RBZ, Allgig and uconnect module.

Has/Can anyone confirm that the Allgig will enable the external dodge uconnect module on the RBZ???

Hey Susanne, I just got my 2011 Ram 1500 Sport yesterday. It's got factory bluetooth, nav, and satellite.

I would like to add a nice flush mount-backup camera that I can view driving in forward or reverse, add video in motion and nav entry in motion.

What do I need to get?

Big thanks.

Depending on where you want to mount the camera we have some options. How about a license plate cam? PM me with your email and I will send you pictures of all of our cameras.

Let me double check on that for you, I am having memory lapse for some reason. Does the rbz have u-connect? Or are you adding the mopar kit?

I can't PM as I don't have 25 posts yet.

Shoot me an email at sho-nuffatcomcastdotnet or post up your email.

I'm thinking about drilling a hole in the rear tailgate just below the lever and mounting a NTV-KIT178 camera. The license plate mount might be a little too low.

I think I need the NTV-KIT260 Allgig and the NTV-HAR120 harness.

Thanks again.

Mike

Here is the reply from tech. I knew we can activate it with the rer radio with use of our allgig and mic kit. But the other radios are different.

The AllGIG was not designed to activate the UConnect option on any radio other than the RER. However, we MAY be able to send the activation code to a different radio, but we never tried. Remember, the customer will still need to purchase the external UConnect kit...

So, we can try, but no promises...
