I was amazed to say the least.
sure he didnt spray or what are his other mods

i cant see him running a 13.43 with those mods

my friend has big valve heads stall cam weight reduction radials and is running mid to low 13s

My first and last time at the track in November:

First run: (Stock paper filter in, no burn out, left in automatic and let the tranny do the shifting)

R/T *** .544
60' *** 2.339
330 *** 6.441
1/8 *** 9.812
MPH *** 73.54
1000 *** 12.666
1/4 *** 15.085
MPH *** 92.10

Second run: (removed filter, small burn out, shifted the automatic manually)
R/T *** .568
60' *** 2.253
330 *** 6.319
1/8 *** 9.677
MPH *** 73.74
1000 *** 12.527
1/4 *** 14.945
MPH *** 92.09

Third run: (still no filter, longer burn out, shifted the automatic manually)
R/T *** .649
60' *** 2.328
330 *** 6.347
1/8 *** 9.670
MPH *** 74.34
1000 *** 12.493
1/4 *** 14.858
MPH *** 95.29

If I could get my 60' times from the second run I may have broken into the 14.7's.

I'm sure...not sure. Maybe his truck was built on a weekday...lol

He is also a very very experienced racer as well.

The reason he actually ran his truck was because his torque converter in his Duster exploded blowing the bellhousing into pieces off the tranny...so...whilst it was being fixed, he ran his truck to stay in the points.

But, he's at the track every weekend of his life...in his low 10s Duster...lol

so...that being said, maybe experience has something to do with it? I think he may have had slicks on it as well, not sure. But, no spray or anything else major, as far as mods go.

track experience is huge (moreso for brackets)...but what is pretty much as important as mods is track trimming as well, lotsa people don't take advantage of the cheap, free an easy mods at the track (an experienced guy would)...

in the rc 4wd 13.43 run..there is more mods we don't know about..I'd be interested to see the whole timeslip.

i have a 09 dodge with the 5.7 hemi and the dodge '05 20 inch rims on it. i think it looks pretty good. i put the McGaughy's 2/4 drop on it. i have a single in dull out, 40 series flowmaster exaust, a throttle body spacer, a cold air in take and a deoblo programmer. it runs a 14.5 in the quarter mile
i would like to get longtube headers for it but dont know which ones to get any suggestions
