Default HID's installed and BRIGHT!

Is there a way to aim them a little lower and to the right? If there is I'm just blind as a bat and can't find it.

I'm getting flashed a bunch and don't really want to attract local LE attention. (I got some pull with the County but I'm SOL local.)

All headlight systems are adjustable. You just have to find the apparatus to adjust them with.

Good Luck!

the adjuster is accessed from a hole in the top of the fender. You have 2 holes about 3-4 inches apart. One of those is the one you need. I think its a T20 or something, put it on an extension and go to town. There is no left/right adjustment, just up/down.

Thanks guys. My kit came from 3B Specialties. Made a pretty long road trip last weekend and left them on as daytime runners for the 3 hr each way trip without problems. No pictures yet and it's rained most all weekend here so the truck is just too dirty for now. I'll get some made this week if I can squeeze some extra time in. If not part of my Gatty practice week is getting some scenic photos in the Smokys that I'll post.

do you have the quad headlights?

If you have the quads, you will need 2 sets of HIDs. If you have the single, you have a H13 bulb and can do a bixenon setup.

I've heard that HID for high beams is a waste since it takes a bit for the HID to warm up to full brightness.

well, it depends.

If you have a bi-xenon setup (H13s), the bulb is already lit, when you hit your highs it pulls the bulb back to "simulate" a high beam.

If you have the quad heads - the highs are separate. It would take a few seconds for the highs to get to full brightness - then you are set. I personally don't use my high beams........so I left them stock.
