Default What should I use?

I noticed alot of stuck on stuff all over my new smoked stainless steel exhaust tip. I tried the Mothers liquid chrome polish I have on hand and it is not removing any of it. What would be best to use to remove and keep the real sticky stuff off? It feels like dried on mud or something else, but I don't want to use something to aggressive and scratch the new one.

I don't know what to tell you to clean it with, but once you get it clean, you can wax it to make it easier to clean off in the future.

Try eagle one nev-r-dull. It is the best to use on any chrome surface or polished at that.

I myself use a product called Autosolve. Its in a tube and ive had great results with it. Had 20 inch rims real dirty and some pitting and they came out great. Does take some work but the end result i had was very good.

Thanks, I'll look into both of them. I am definitely going to wax it once it is clean again. I did use that mothers polish before it got bad, but it did nothing to protect the finish at all. Thats odd considering I've always liked their products. I did switch to Meguires stuff recently, and am anxious to try out my new clay bar kit. Now I just need a full day to devote to the truck without kids pestering me lol.

If you polished the tips by hand and that didn't do much, then you might want to try that power ball for metal that you can use for polishing wheels and tips.

After clay barring the truck on Father's day I used the clay bar on the tip. After about 3-4 times of rubbing the Stainless about 98% of the crap came off. It really worked pretty good on the baked on stuff.
