Never seen them before. Not sure what they do to increase performance.

I'm a bit skeptical about the claim as well...actually, I'm callin' BS on that one.

It may be worth the money to give it a try but be prepared to be underwhelmed with the results.

Not worth the plastic they're covered in. With a tuner, a lot of R&D and support go into developing them, and a chip the clams 50-70HP simply by plugging in, has none of that, and I'd be more worried about it f@#&ing up my computer. A quality tuner generally runs around $250-350, in the case of tuner you get what you pay for.

If you want to see what it is, buy one and crack open the plastic case. Most of them just have a resistor in there. Not sure what it does, but most just trick your PCM. I wouldn't touch it, and save my money for a quality mod.

im not expecting 50 horse, but i am gonna try it, if i can get even 10-15 horse for 70 bucks, then id say its worth it. but i again i ask, has anyone out there actually tried them? im more concerned about hearing someones actual experience, not a bunch of hearsay. so if no one has tried it then i'll be the guinea pig, if it doesnt do much, then it doesnt do much. but im really getting tired of some people making guesses as to wether something will work or not, if you know the answer then give it, but please stop speculating and guessing and saying something wont work if you dont know. if you read my original post, i asked if anyone had USED them what THEIR experience was. burn me if you want, but stop the guessing and hearsay answers. that is all. adjust fire.
