Default Hitch Installation

I have a 2002 reg cab 4x4, and was wondering what am I in for when installing a class 3 trailer hitch from valley. I was under the truck already, and it looks like there is a hitch already installed (tube that is already bent from factory), but I think it is just a bumper support. (the guy I got the truck from already has a ball in the bumper) Just wondering if that is a issue, and does a aftermarket trailer hitch fit right in with my setup. From the pics I see on the valley website, it LOOKS like it should go around, but just want to be sure. Thanks alot for any info.

Yes, if they sell this kit as fitting your truck, it should fit. There's some minor dimensional differences from generation to generation trucks.

I'd remove what is there so you have the room you need to install a full class III receiver hitch.
