I have the Timbrens on my truck too. They do a great job as I pull a 5th wheel trailer with a weight of 6400 lbs. I have the 3.55 gears and did not have any trouble at all pulling it through the mountains in WV and NC. I did change all the tires to Copper XL because they are rated for 3000 lbs. vs. 2600 lbs. for the GY.

Brad12 I just installed my timbrens yesterday. Pull out the old bumpstops by hand then used some dish soap on the timbrens and a pry bar to get them in. Then as per the timbren instructions jacked up the truck put a small block of 2x4 under them and dropped the truck seating the timbrens in the cups. After you remove the 2x4 blocks your done. quick and easy and no messing around with air.

I also install them a few weeks ago.....the quickest and easiest mod I've ever installed. Took less than 10 minutes. Although the instructions suggested jacking up the truck and stuff, there is plenty of room to install them with out doing that. I was really surprised on how easy the factory bumpers removed! Instead of jacking the truck up and using blocks to 'seat' them, I used a short piece of 1x2 and just pried up on them. Then hooked up my trailer and went for a short drive on a bad road.....these are a great product, and IMO should be standard equipment with the trailer tow package.
