When I was researching my truck, there was no option for a spray bedliner and that I am 100% sure off because I waited almost an entire year thinking about it before I decided to buy it. If it comes from the factory already sprayed, then I would think that the quality would be pretty good. Not to mention that it should have a good warranty also.

It is something the factory started offering late in the 2010 build. When I spec'd my Sport in late April it was available. I was leaning towards ordering it but since it was so new there was no way to see what it looked like, nor did anyone know whether it was like Line-X (hot, pressurized spray) or Rhino (cold, low-pressure spray). I think it's a good deal though, especially if you don't mind either style.

The one other thing that kept me away is that any factory option would be warranted same as the rest of the truck (3/36), whereas Line-X is lifetime warranty.

MSPTNY02 - how much did you pay for Line-X?

Rob

At the dealer I have been too they had the Line-X sticker in the back window, But I'm not sure if there were done "factory" or if the dealers did them.

rob,
i paid $500 for mine. and i agree, you dont know if its sprayed hot or cold. plus the lifetime warranty is worth it also. the dealer i bought my sport from sprayed rhino but i went to CT to have the line-x done. very happy with it.

So, just how slippery is your Line-X? Is it worse than a bare metal bed? Better?

Thanks,
Rob

Love my Line-X. It's not slippery at all.

my dealership gave me the option, drop in or Line-x, i told them that i perferred Line_X, so they called the local Line_X people & they picked it up & applied it, for less than the drop in
