Default ATV in the box, how I did it.

Like I mentionned in my intro/newb post, I bought the Ram mainly to haul ATVs around. Eventually I will mount a winch sideways in the front of the bed with a pulley and I will just pull the renegade up, those ramps and the bedliner can get very slippery in the winter.

So now I have a good set of hook to attach my straps and something to lock my ramps so they do not "go away" while i'm out riding.

I also made the front bar in a way that I cant go over it and land in the back glass.

The next step is to get a tonneau cover so I can just fold the ramps, lock them down and put the cover on top to hide everything and keep them away from elements while i'm out riding

I guess that means, if you go with a tonneau, that you won't be hauling one of the ATV's in the bed, right?

I'll be installing a soft tonneau cover. Roll it, load the ATV and go.

I dont want a hard fiberglass cover. They look good but make the truck box completely useless I think.

The roll up tonneaus are nice, especially for maintaining use of the full bed. Don't know what kind of funds you are putting into one, but the metal inside rail roll up covers are really nice. I was lacking in funds when I bought Extang Tri Fold or I would have went with a metal roll up. Just a thought.

Thats a very nice setup, looks like it would work for hauling around anything.

Me, I just strap everything to the roll bar. But I am putting a hard tonneau on for this winter.

I like the aluminum Peragon folding cover. It secures every thing and only takes 6 inches of the front of the bed when folded plus with a clip release on the right end, can be lifted out and stored, or placed along side of the load. I have set mine in the rear seat on Occasion of bulky load.
