I used a electric saw to get most of it out of the way, then a dremel to make a run where it was clamped at to the end and stretched it out to get it off.

The next night I went back to Summit to pick up a Corsa exhaust which turned out to be a PIMA as well since they ask you to use part of the pipe I had cut the night before. The other one was sent back as soon as I got back from the beach. I will say riding with just headers the 80 miles to summit was not fun. It made the whole cab shake, but I loved the sound.

OK, so it's close to a month later and I'm still having issues. Since I chopped the original mid-pipe and the new 'cat-back' exhaust requires you to use part of it I ended up buying a straight pipe 48inches cutting it down to 34 as per the instructions(using 34 inches of your org mid-pipe) but the dang thing keeps on falling off. It seems that everytime my wife or I get on it, it slides off. This past sunday I put a new clamp on and torqued it down pretty good, even deforming the pipe where the clamp is... Do I really have to have this thing welded on?

Sounds to me like you dont have enough pipe inserted to allow the clamp to get a good bite. Welding would be the best option at that point and an exhaust shop should do it pretty cheap.

Thanks Randy, it's welded now. A local shop did it for 25 bucks.
