Default Tire Width question

What is the widest tire size I can put on my stock 20" wheels for my 2008 Dodge Ram 2WD? I know this has probably been covered but I'm having trouble finding anything.

Just ask the women, wider is better I've heard guys with 305s with no issues, you can get 315s on but may have rubbing issues with a 2WD.

295 for sure, you might have some rubbing at full steering lock with 305's but a 305 on a 9" wide rim would be the max.
