Default Need help with newly installed leveling kit! PLEASE!

Hey everyone, i just got a 2' Daystar level on my 2010 ram 1500 2wd. I also got some 20' wheels with 33' tires. My question is should my steering wheel have any shake after i had this stuff put on the truck. Im thinking the answer is no. This is my first truck and new to leveling and raising. I took my truck back to the shop twice thinking the wheels weren't mounted and balanced right. Turns out, they are. So now im thinking it might have something to do with the leveling kit???? The truck drives fine until get around 50mph, then the steering starts shaking alot. If i let go of the wheel, its stays in a perfectly straight line so im pretty sure it has nothing to do with the alignment, which i had them check also. Anyone have any suggestions or answers? I was thinking of taking it to my local dealership to let them look at the leveling kit to see if it was done correctly? Thanks sooo much to anyone for any help or suggestions. When it stops raining and i clean it up, ill upload some pics!

Do you have the stock wheels or aftermarket?? I just installed after market wheels and I have the same kinda thing. The hub on the truck is smaller than the wheels. I need to get a piece that fills in the space which will evenly fit the wheels on. Right now they are not perfectly center which is causing some vibration in the steering wheel.

Also after you install a leveling kit is is recommended getting an alignment done to the truck.

I just installed a 2.5 leveling kit and got the same wobble. I am taking it back to the shop on Monday and they are trying a 2" or 1.5" lift to see if it goes away. The wobble is emphasized if you put it in 4wd and speed up from a dead stop for about 50 feet. Good luck but this wobble is showing up on 2009 trucks. I thought the shop said it wasn't affecting the 2010 trucks. Exhaust everything before you take off the lift.

Ohhhhh I got ya! I have the same thing in 4x4 but not 2wd. It is the half shafts in the front. They are on too much of an angle so it is causing a vibration. I have the same hting in 4x4 so I dont use it hahaha

To fix this you have to drop the front diff, or drop the half shafts. 1.5" should not affect it that much and you probably wont get any problems

Yeah, i got aftermarket wheels. And they "did an alignment" after they put everything on the truck. I thought that might be the problem, but when i brought it back they "checked it" and said that was not the issue. I appreciate the help so much fellas!

Default Need rings first...

Absolutely critical to get the right hubcentric rings on the wheels/hubs first. I wouldn't chase anything in the suspension or alignment until the wheels are secured first.
