up until now i have been a rice-burner guy. all of my porjects have been nissan's or acura's with the exception of my 72 Chevrolet C10.
a few days ago i bought a regular cab Dodge Ram SLT with the 5.7L hemi, automatic transmission, 2005 model
modifications are 6.1L cam and valves. cat-delete with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust and some generic looking cherry bomb. and a short ram intake(air raid) with a stainless air dam and an air ram behind the grill. at a guess what would the new engine horsepower be? he had the heavy duty leaf spring taken out to lower the back end. its on 20" 5 spoke dodge wheels. i need help with getting more traction on the ass end too if anyone has some advice. also what tires are yall runing? im a Nitto fan personally.
also its a 2WD truck and the guy mention the track-lock rear end so whats up with that. i know what traction lock rear ends do but i would like to know why he mentioned it on this truck does it not come standard with that? anyways any advice would be nice. sorry this is so jumbled ill hit up some pictures later. best of luck to you and have a good day.
