Default Biggest wheel and tires

Hey guys, FNG here. I got a 2005 ram 1500 with a 5.7 in it. Does anyone here know how big I can go with a wheel and tire combo on stock suspension without running into rubbing issues. Thanks

I'm running 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers right now and don't have any issues.

I've got a 2005 2wd Ram 1500 and I'm running Mickey Thompson 35x12.5x20s with no rubbing issues. No lift or level. So you'll fit them also.

Yeah the 2wds usually do sit a little lower, but if my 2WD can fit 35s his truck will also. 2wd or 4wd.

What are you talking about? Your wheel isn't gonna rub, your tire will. The wheel size doesn't matter as long as it isn't too skinny or too wide for your tire. I have 12.5 inch wide tires and they don't rub.

yeah and apparently u dont know that if u run a wider wheel it will change your tire width and therefore can cause rubbing when sharp turning.

I do not think getting the biggest tires possible and stuffing them under teh wheel wells is the best idea. If you want to make it look really good go with a 33" tire and get a leveling kit. The level will cost you like $100 and it will look much better.

I do not want to say any ones truck looks bad or anything do not get me wrong. It is my personal preference to have some visible space between the truck and the tires.

I have a 07 4x4 with a 2.5" front and 1.5" rear lift. I am only running 33" tires and I have tons of room under the wheel wells. I can fit 35" tires and they will fit comfortably with room around them. I actually like the way the truck looks now even though they are only 33" tires.

Yeah I knew that, you said "wheel size." If you have 8, 9, or 10 inch wheels on a 12.5 inch tire it's gonna be all the same. A stock 20" on a 12.5 inch tire is gonna touch the suspension at full left lock. Of course a 10 inch wheel is gonna rub, why would you even ask that?
