Yes the lugs do give it an aggressive look! It hasn't made on my wallpaper list, but a close contender for sure. I'm most impressed that it is still a truck and a work truck at that. Fill the bags and hook on the trailer and you have one classy tow vehicle. Dump the trailer, park it, dump the air....and not a single person will ignore it!
Although I would never....can't use never.....although I have no plans to deploy this type of mod on my own truck, I am so glad that someone did, just so i can enjoy the pictures.

May not be in my plans, but I certainly admire the look and the effort.
This hit my bin where Art and Engineering meet on common ground.

Thanks for posting the pix....I really enjoyed them!

I agree, lifted gets my vote, but I can appreciate the work that went into it, and even though I wouldn't do it, looks good to me.

Many things are wrong with that truck. Here are the top three:
1. It is way too low. I love lowered trucks. Lowering a dually, which is meant for pulling, enough to make it useless is just plain stupid.
2. The taillights are terrible. Stockers look the best.
3. Front wheel lug covers. I have no words for them.

Ummmm...helllooo...

Its on an airbag suspension so therefore of course it is going to be low. It is stock height when he wants it to ride normal. Of course you can't ride that low.

I looked, but could not find and pix of the truck with the trailer behind it. Figured that would help those that are not familiar with Bag suspension....the ol' A pictures worth a thousand words thing. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any pix or videos to be had.

For those that are not familiar with bag suspension, it was hugely popularized by the 'Low Rider' community. It is capable of altering the suspension to extremes. You can release the air from the bags, and depending on how much work you have done to the vehicle, drop the frame right on the ground. This is commonly the 'Parked' position. When you go to drive the vehicle, you pump air into the bags, and raise the suspension to the 'Ride Height', which you have pre-determined, and have had your front end alignment, etc. adjusted to this height. In most bagged units, you can add additional air to adjust the vehicle height to a lifted look, but as in the parked position, your alignment geometry will be off at this 'non-normal' height, just as it's off in the 'parked' position, which is noticeable on the front wheels in the pictures.

When I look at the trailer coupling on Mad Mikes truck, it suggests that his driving height is still a lower than factory height, but non the less, is much higher than the parked position depicted in the pictures.

As for the tail lights, I personally agree that the stock ones look better....but I don't believe the ones he choose take away from the 'Cool' factor of this truck. It is not easy to accomplish a 'Parked' drop of that extreme, so I for one, am very impressed with the engineering effort that went into it, and if given the opportunity, would have that truck 'parked' in my driveway......ugly front lug nuts and all !

Ummmm...helllooo...Really? Thanks Captain Obvious. I suppose you are going to tell me grass is green and the sky is blue next. Lowering or putting airbags on a dually defeats the intended purpose of a dually. Just the extra weight from all the airbag compressors, etc. reduces your weight carrying capacity.
