Default Wanted** bully dog expert

Ok, so I recently got a bully dog Gas GT tuner.. after many fights and issues, it is finally up and running like I think it is supposed to. Now, I have a few questions regarding said tuner...

Is it NORMAL for the Coolant Temp to jump... it goes from 208(+/- 5) to 350 for a second or two and then goes back to 208... it is not constant by any means and it is not in any sort of pattern, and it does not happen all the time.... can I consider this just a fluke in the temp sensor? or the turner misreading? should I be alarmed??

Also, my trans temp does the same thing... will jump from 118-140 (depending on how im driving) to 400 for a second, then go back to 118... but that one second at 400 is enough to trigger my trans temp alert on the BD but NOT the trans temp on the dash....

Any ideas?

Sounds like a software issue with the tuner to me. Did you update it to the most recent version before installing it?

it has to be a blip in the sensor or meter in the software. try setting the tune back to stock then uninstalling it then re-install and tune. that's my only guess but itd be worth a shot.

hmmm. im stumped on that one. my buddy just installed a gt tuner from bully dog and his throttle percentage reads 54% at idle. which is nowhere near close so I have no clue...have you contacted bullydog yet?

ok, after multiple installs it still does it... must just be a fluke with the tuner.. I am positive my engine isn't running at over 400 degrees... I just replaced my water pump and definitely have no leaks anymore... also my trans is just fine and topped off so there is nothing wrong in that dept either... maybe it will get fixed in the next update.
