Question Single out or dual out?

Hello everyone. I have a question on my exhaust. Hope this hasnt been beatin up. 5.7 Hemi..........Any real power difference in exhaust..single in to single out...compared to single in and dual out. I know the sound is a bit different. What about performance? Also ..if you put headers on later do you need duals?Im asking because i guy is interested in my exhaust..For what i payed for it.I still have my stock set up for know. Thus leaving me single in and out.BTW..........I wont have to fill in that exhaust opening on my factory ground effects as well

My shop told me single in/dual out was more for looks, you basically get the same results. Of course, duals would let more air out, which is a plus. All the trucks with headers I've seen have had dual exhaust. I just didn't feel like spending the extra money on dual out, that's just me.

It's a matter of preference...performance wise, very little difference, if any...

si/so provides better tq down low... a si/do kind moves it a little bit towards topend... in my case I went duals from the headers back to muffler (cuz I'm cammed, runnin bv heads and lt headers), now, fearing that I maybe giving up low end performance, I took a si/do muffler and flipped it (making it now dual in/single out)... so this gives me the best of both worlds, keepin the single out to retain low end performance but also doin 'true' duals (have dual e-cutouts) whenever I feel the need to open up the exhaust at a flip of the switch..

I like the look of the dual out straight back!! i think it makes the truck look pretty good! Performance wise if your looking for more power i no the stock Y-pipe is a huge restriction so if your going to do more then cat back get rid of that!!
