Default 07 Ram lift

Need a little help,

I would like to do 2" lift in the rear and a 4" in the front and still keep it pretty level... I would like to hear what you guys have to say and need to know where to get the suspension from? I was reading a little bit and saw the belstein shocks where good... If you can let me know what kit i could buy...
P.S. Can you also let me know how the ride is with the belstein shocks, because my truck very bumpy????

Hit me up...

Bilstein's will quite the ride a bit (soften it) but an empty truck is gonna be a bit bumpy in the rear. Also, you may find your tires are inflated to max pressure. I'd back them down a bit for a better ride.

As far as a leveling kit, there are a lot out there but one of the best is Daystar, IMHO. They make good stuff and stand behind it.

As far as the dimensions, if 2" in the rear and 4" in front levels out the rake, that's fine. I'd start talking to some local shops.

You'll never do a 4" up front without different spindles. I just put a 2.5" procomp in the front and just about killed myself getting the ball joint on the upper control arm back into the spindle. I had to use spring compressors and a floor jack under the lower control arm to get the spindle close to the UCA.

Spindles will only work on a 2X4, if he has a 4x4 he will be in for a whole new ball game...trying to get 4" of lift in the front without lowering the front differential is going to put a very severe angle on the cvs and the control arms (will wear the balljoints) so i am going to say it is not in your best interest trying to go up 4" in the front without lowering the front diff!

That is why you can get a 2"-3" level kit and then the next step is 6" suspension!

Sorry,
I'm new to lifting trucks and can only speak from the experience I had with a levelling kit. I see how you would need to lower the front diff to lift the front more that 2.5" but don't I see replacement spindles (Steering Knuckle) in this picture of a 6" lift??

When lifting vehicles the only time you need spindles is on a 2 Wheel Drive truck as the front axles are not live!!

On a 4x4 you have the steering knuckle, the center is the hub assembly will be there with the cv joint going through that to drive the wheel....there are no spindles on a 4x4, thus there would be no need to put drop spindles on cuz you can't...spindles are a cheap and easy way to lift or lower a 2 wheel drive truck, 4x4 are alot harder and more expensive to lift!!

Sorry, I guess I minced terms. I originally meant to say that the "steering knuckle" would need to be replaced because there's no way the stocker could fit with a longer strut.

I have the Bilstein 5100s in my truck on the 4 corners. I love those shocks they are great! They also handle the tires better too. I loved the ride after I installed the shocks!

There are kits out there for 4" lifts. If you want to go the cheaper route you can do the Bilstein 5100s and raise the truck in the front 2.5" and then get a block for the rear. Once you have those you can get a 3" body lift. Zone makes the best body lift out there since it actually makes the truck look good haha. I have a 1.5" block in the back of my truck and it sits almost level with the 2.5" up front.

It would be better to go with a suspension lift but I thought I would give you an alternative. That suggestion would give you a 5.5" lift rather than a 4" for like half the price.

If you go to Zone's website I think they have a 4" lift for your truck as well.
