Default what are these connectors for 1998 Ram 1500?

Just curious what these connectors might be for.

First looks like for some test equipment perhaps. It is on the passenger inner fender toward the front.



Next one is near the underhood light and is on the same harness stub.

That second one looks like a tap in the underhood light that allows you to add a second one to the other side.

There wasn't anything attached to that connector on my '99 but when I looked at it, my thought was the second underhood light.

Is one maybe to add the overhead console with the temp readings?? Some one had once told me the plug was there just need to other part to make it work, but who knows.

Anything is possible I suppose.

Perhaps someone who has the overhead console could see if their connector has something attached?
