Default Another Mufflex install

I finally found time this morning to install the 14" Mufflex I ordered a while back. It was super easy to install. Inlets and outlets lined up well. Installation took about an hour. Most of that time was spent getting the stock exhaust off the hangers.

Knowing the converter on modern cars muffles the exhaust quite a bit, I ordered the 14" muffler. It was a good choice. It's not much louder than stock. Yes, it's noticeably louder, but it's no where close to being obnoxious. During my quick test drive I could not discern any droning, even when MDS kicks in. It was a short test drive though. I'll wait until I drive the truck a week before I say the muffler is a worthy modification.

Cool, nice to hear that it went on pretty easy. That's the one I want to use since its bolt on and you can do it yourself. I was a bit worried it would be too loud however from your post it seems like it will be okay. If you can, please post a video clip so we can all hear how it sounds.

It has been said on this board before, 'NO PICS/VIDEO MEANS IT DIDN'T HAPPEN'. Get to work brother.

Wish they made a kit like this for my 07. I like the price and everyone says it fits great.

for the exhaust hangers there silicon (the spray) or wd40 work the best
