hey new guy here. does anyone run Mopar oil and filter? or heard anything bad about them?

been running it since day 1 of owning my truck..Nothing has happend to my truck and runs just as good as new.

Default 2009 & 2010 Mopar Oil Filters...????

Anybody know how the factory MOPAR hemi oil filters stand up to all these synthetic oil`s...?????

And does anybody know for a fact what MICRON these stock mopar hemi oil filters are as well...???

The down side to Mopar filters is that you can't be sure who's making them at any given time. Like many outsourced parts, they have been made by a couple of different companies over the years. They would still have to meet Chrysler standards in any case. Personally, I like Wix and Purolater for my first two choices.

Nothing 'wrong' with mopar oil and filters,,, A little pricey for what you get, as Mopar just buys somebody elses oil and filter and slaps a label on it.

Wally World has the OEM filters for under 6 bucks.

ME? Usually Wix or Purolater filters.

I bought a case of MOPAR hemi filters for $5.00 each, so i figured that was a good deal. Maybe when those run out, i`ll try some other filters after i do some research on them...but for now, these MOPAR filters will keep the warranty demons at rest.
