Again, sounds about right, but much cheaper if you do it yourself and keep the receipts.

Wasn't that long ago when I said..."$100.00 for a tune-up and fluids....are you nuts!"
Know, for a $100.00, I'd do it in a heartbeat.....but $1K ???

I have to repeat the above line.....with a zero added!

Wonder what $1K will buy in 20 years???? Floor Mats??

Ok so being a tech I know the whole throttle body service is bull if you want one all they do is take some throttle body cleaner and spray it on a rag and wipe out your throttle. If they are good they might even use a BG throttle service kit which is still over priced and wont do more than overload your cat's and maybe clean your intake. The 30,000 mile service for a hemi is only really a oil change, spark plugs, tire rotation, and change diff and transfer fluids. The transfer and diff fluids I change regularly on my own and also do it with oil change and all together fluids, filter, and addative for diff cost around 150. But let me say spark plugs are a must, now they may not need changed but at least pull them and put anti-seez on them. But 1k is way to much.

Default A fool and his money soon go their seperate ways

I`m sorry, BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT............
ther is no way in HELLLL i would EVER pay $1,000.00 for a fliuid change and tune up...!!!!!!
These dealers and manufactuer`s are friggin OUT OF CONTROL...!!!!!

As for that special MOPAR additive to the rear-end, thats bullshiittttt...!!!
I drove my old 2005 hemi truck over 200,000+ miles with amsoil additive in the rear-end before i sold it, and the additive didnt cost me $300 friggin dollars either. That 2005 hemi truck is STILL runnin perfect today too for the new owner, and the ORIGINAL rear-end has never been apart since i bought new in late 2004, and still quite as a mouse...!

The dealers make you pay these high prices because "you" allow it to happen.
If you cant work on your own truck, then find someone to teach you what you need to know to save you big $$$$$$$$$

They dont call them "STEALER`S" for nothin folks...!
