Hi, Tim, and thanks for joining the RamforumZ. I encourage you to stop by the Newbie Checkin section and introduce yourself so other members and give you a proper how-do-ya-do.

I always took my truck here for suspension and exhaust work. Jerry will talk your ear off, but he'll also back up his work 100%. Three years after he did my Magnaflow exhaust, I had a weld break on a hanger. Without question, he took my truck in and fixed it, on the spot, no charge. He's in Carrollton off 35E.

Roger, where we're you with that rec on my multiple leveling mechanic threads haha

Finally nailed my guy down to $90/hour for front 5100 and UCA install. I think I am good with that, I figure 2-3 hrs. He quoted $150 per side for just the 5100s so I pushed back a little.

Also, got my dash Kicker speakers and fender flares installed. Looking forward to getting together soon.

Awesome! But, $90 an hour? That seems kinda steep. Apparently I haven't been to a shop in a while. Fender flares... lookin' forward to see those.

Yes, yes. Lunch is on the horizon.

Roger, I will call your guy tmrw for an estimate. This is all new to me, I used to tweak cars as a kid myself, now I am married with kids, job, no time to take the car apart and possibly not have it drive the next morning. and have to pay someone to do it. The funny part is these trucks are easy to work on unlike my last two cars, Audi and BMW. You almost needed a special wrench and computer to check the fuel gauge!

Good talking to you today, Tim. Did you call Jerry? What kind of price did he give you to lower your beast?

I love European cars, 'specially the Audi. My neighbor has one. She is one hot piece of... Oops, sorry. We were talking about the car, right? Her A6 is pretty hot as well. But they are as expensive as hell to maintain. Wait, we're still talking about the car, right?

Roger, I am doing a 5100 level, not a drop. But I did call and they said they would have to see it to quote it, I am going in Saturday morning. Will let you know.

Sound like the new, New guy is also named Tim (I guess mods can see names?)

I figured if your guy can do drops he can do levels! Will also ask him about a magnaflow muffler since he does exhaust work.

Two new Tims in Dallas. Lone Star Tim and Express Tim, both needing suspension mods!

Voonderbar! Tim's for everyone.

I can see the name if the member puts one in. Many folks don't add their name.
