Oh Randy, that link doesn't make me feel any better. How nessesary is it to remove the throttle to clean it. I've seen some pics that seem to indicate that most of the buildup will be on the back the throttle plate. Is this correct?

How delicate is the throttle plate? The bulliten warns against denting or scratching it ... is this likely?

If I remove the TB is there a gasket that will need replaceing. Is it just bolt on application? Do you know the proper torque specs for the TB bolt off the top of your head.

If I don't remove the TB and I end up with some brake cleaner in the manifold (which I would assume is inevitable) how long to you need to wait before starting the engine?

I have even more questions not than I did before.

The throttle plate is a lot tougher than they lead you to think. Just use an old toothbrush and you'll be fine. There isn't any gaskets that require replacing. You don't have to remove the throttle body if you don't want to. That's usually only required when it's really nasty. The edge of the blade and bore are what you need to concentrate on. Getting brake cleaner in the intake isn't a big deal as it will burn off. The engine will fun rough for a bit but it won't hurt anything. You can also soak a rag with the brake cleaner and scrub the bore that way if you'd prefer.

Ok ... so I took the hat off so I could get at the throttle. Totally clean. I checked the back side of the throttle plate too. The whole thing is shiny. Is there anything else they (the dealer) could have meant by air induction system cleaning? He mention cleaning the throttle specifically though, and it definiately didn't need cleaning. Glad I ddin't pay they $130 to look at it.

Cleaning the throttle body is part of the induction system service. You can accomplish the rest by adding a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to your tank and by running SeaFoam through your intake.

Ok ... now I guess I'm confused about the seafoam. Is this not a throttle body clean then (I assumed it was) as you previously told me not to use one. I also figured the bottle of injector cleaner was up next.

Seafoam has several products
I have heard that some use the different products a bit differently than the Home page suggests, but, get more info before you do any of those, like Randy mentioned about vacuum line, i have seen something about the vacuum port at the brake booster
I have not used it yet

That's a common port to use but you need to insert a smaller hose into the booster line so it doesn't suck down the entire can like a forum member on a bender in Gatty!
