I don't think you read the whole thread. The vender is not at fault. But, he is a LOLO for not doing what needs to be done. If he had just said I will file a claim with UPS, all this drama would be a mute point. According to UPS he has the ability to see that the package was not delivered to me but to another address.

Here is the latest and greatest on the ongoing saga of " I didn't get my parts". CCI is just a, clearing center so it isn't there problem and they have no control over Block-Head at Auto Detail.
UPS has sent a driver to my door and has officially started an investigation.
Master Card has given me a refund and is investigating too.

I do hope that UPS does investigate, and it's not just 'lip service'. It is situations like this that need to be handled properly so as to avoid a repeat of the error. After all, they were the ones that 'created' the original problem.
Glad to hear that you are at least compensated for your initial capital outlay. I do hope your future dealings with whomever they are with, go much better.

glad that you got your money back
i was told once that you should always use a credit card to make high dollar purchases & for buying bulky items. I never really understood the reason for the 2nd part of that, but, if you buy a living room chair with a credit card & it is loaded in your vehicle & on the way home that item gets damaged, a claim is filed by you , somehow the CC company stops payment. I still don't understand it fully, maybe that is why SEARS will load a refrigerator, but, won't help you tie it down

I got an e-mail from PayPal telling me that MC had requested a charge back. They then asked me if I wanted to continue my dispute. I also got a seperate e-mail from them asking me how they did. I guess ya'all can guess the answer to those ??.
I really think UPS is legit in the way they are handling this. Yes they did cause the problem but, at least they are doing something about it. (lament) If only the driver had left that little slip of paper on my door. The driver was a newbie so this is one lesson he won't soon forget I hope.
I don't think this is quite over yet but, I sure hope I'm close. MC said it can take up to 90 days for this to become final but, the funds have already been returned to my CC account.

I have to agree with everyone Paypal is bullshit! I got ripped off by a member on another forum not too long ago. I bought a pulley off the kid for my Ram and he sent me a bad one. The pulley is a Motoblue Pulley and they are known to have problems with blowing motors. Now I knew this but they have corrected it and made new ones that are alright. I asked the guy if everything was cool with it and if it was the bad one. He replied that it was fine and it is good. So I then continued to order it since I was told nothing was wrong with it.

When I got the thing it was the bad one! The pulley looked the opposite from what the pics were on the website. So I then continued to ask guys on the forum and they all told me it was bad. They also told me that he tried selling it a month before I bought it. Everyone on the forum had told him that he should not be selling it since it can cause some serious damage. I was not aware of that thread so I did not get the info I needed. Anyways I tried asking the guuy for my money back and he did not answer me.

After that I contected Paypal and sent a claim. I even caled them since I did not want to wait. They told me they could not do anything sine it was not on Ebay. So I got stuck with the pulley and lost $100 over it.

Paypal does nothing for anyone!! I cant believe they claim to have good service and buyer protection. they are a bunch of *******s there lying sack of shits!

Hey Everyone...

As a vendor who uses UPS, it is very easy for us to file claims, especially if you ship a lot to have your own UPS Shipping System (Computer paid for by UPS to process shipments) in your warehouse. It takes all of 2 clicks... and done. If you dont hve a USS, you can create a claim in a few clicks on UPS.com

The great thing about UPS.com is that customers can also file claims on UPS very easily as long as you have the tracking number. So give that a shot if the problem has yet to be resolved.

Maybe Dippy Do Da in Tracy, California doesn't know what to do but, if he wants to get his money back through UPS he will have to learn how to file that claim. I'm sure PayPal has already deducted it from his account, they aren't going to eat it I think.

I found another vender in New York that actually had a better product at about the same price and already have them on my truck. Pictures to follow soon. If you were thinking of buying the PUTCO cut yourself, pillar-post covers, don't. The polished stainless are sooo much betta.
