Since my bumper is painted I would probably cook the bumper if I used Pam Cooking Spray. I just use Purple Power (from Wal-Mart) and let it sit for a minute and wash it off with the hose.

For my motorcycle windscreen, I always used hot water on a facecloth and hold it up against the guts for a few. It'll wipe right off.

Your Welcome!
It doesn't harm the paint ? Do you reapply a coat of wax afterwards ? I would imagine you'd have to .

I had a really bad bug issue a few times. They are a pain in the butt. Now this is gonna sound really gross but it was free, quick and easy. To get them off I used spit...Kinda found out by accident after the bug remover wasnt cutting it, I tried the old "spit on a cloth and rub" , and it worked. I guess the enzymes in the saliva break them down...It worked for me, and it gave me a great excuse to have a beer afterwards, you know the dry mouth and all..LOL.

By the way the prevention method that my buddy uses on his big rig is lemon oil. It wont hurt anything and it actually makes a great shine.

I watched a program on TV one day....and the guy recommended using WD40 on the whole vehicle. It won't harm the paint and it actually works well. Even on removing tar and such that kicks up from the road.
