Still have a few things to do but the truck has come a long way. Now I am chasing a set of wheels for the truck. I have looked at a lot of different styles but keep coming back to the XD's. We'll see. At least I feel I can put it in a truck show at any time and it is fun as heck to drive. Funny that a couple of my Chevy buddies came over last night to show off their new wheels and then started drooling over my truck. LOL

Default Latest Mod

Get ready,

are you ready,

almost there,

ready now>>>>>>>>>>>>

Here is my latest Mod, YEP just like the big boys and girls, I got new rims. 20" Monster XD's. Bet you are about to say where are the pics and if there are no pics then it didn't happen.

Now for the pics (((((((LOL)))))))

Sooooooooo, what do you think of the new rims? Now check this out on the deal I made, I got the price of the rims down to $685, and with new lugs, take my new Cooper tires off the OEM rims and mount on the new rims, and balanced the out the door price was $865. The owner put them on his sons truck and the kid didn't like them and wanted a different rim, so I got them basically as they were comming off his truck after being a week old. Here is the kicker, I left my OEM rims at the dealer and they are going to sell them for me on consignment and I get $400 back when they sell. All being said and done my new rims cost a whopping $465. Now how is that for LUCKY!

Thanks guys. The truck is really coming together. Now I need to remove the fog light in the bumper for the ram air.

Well for the next Mods is of course the ram air tube that just arrived for the Volant CAI, but there are things jumping around in my head like headers, underdrive pulley, 180 Tstat, , maybe new interior, a full size sun roof, a half cover for the bed, cam, hood liner, gun safe, and of course just drive the stuffing out of it. I guess there are a lot of things but only money and time will tell what I do next.

Very nice setup, and yes we are all addicted on this forum. How tall are those fender flares on the rear wheels from the edge to the top of the flair? What brand are they? Thanks for sharing the pics and any help you can give me.
