I've heard of Aero-turbine, they sound good! I personally choose Magnaflow (which is what the Mufflex kit uses). Usually for ultimate cost savings, you should look at buying a muffler and having a custom job done. It's generally a lot cheaper than buying a kit, but that kind of sounds like what you plan to do. Good luck!

I did a single in/dual out Magnaflow on my MegaCab. The local shop bent up the two new tailpipes. Muffler, pipes and install came to $400 which is a LOT cheaper than just the purchase price of most cat back systems.

Hey I have a Gibson exhaust in my shop that is for a Mega Cab. It is brand new!! If your interested let me know, I am sure we can work out a good deal for it.

the Gibson exhaust brand is damn good, I have one on my truck and love it. If you look at the muffler design you will see that it is a straight through design. This gives you great great sound and some serious power! Send me a PM or visitor message if your interested

I got my magnaflow put in with a new Y-pipe for a whopping 250 bucks (muffler, Y, and 3 hours of tubing/bending/welding). Used the stock dual bumper exit setup.....helps to know exhaust shop guys! Shop around! It's worth it!

I just bought an edelbrock SDT for my Mega on edelbrock.com for $151 plus $32 shipping. it took 40 min to put on and sounds great. the next day they had them down to $140. this was last week, they may still have them.
