Default Started my next mod today...

This is what im workin on NOW.. Already blacked out the fogs, the ram emblems, and intenna. Plan to order the headlight Blackout covers tomorrow when summit opens but before I do Ive also considered double halo's. What do yall suggest? LOL also I need to find another OEM fog light bracket where can I get one?

Heres how this project is going so far....

damn that is one black a$$ stuck! lol
love the fog lights!
im not much of a fan for the halos, i would just tint them, but alot of people are into the halos, i thik the halos will give you the effect you are lookign for, while keeping night driving an option...the tint covers really lower light quality!

LOL only thing is im working on a beer budget like everyone else and a set of halo's is going to run $200-$300 compared to $70 for headlight covers. As for visability I plan to also replace stock bulbs with either Silverstar Whites or HID's.

I do need to get a few stock parts though...tailgate ram emblem (broke mine trying to remove it for paint), lugnut cap, fog light bracket (broken lol but not by me).

Oh its black but its got nothing on Carls 06 nightrunner...Lol Im using his Batram to inspire mine. Not Copy but as insperation.

Dude some people would kill for stock night runner OEM dodge headlights. Try seeing if anyone would like to buy them from you. I know you are on a beer budget and are like the rest of us and can't leave anything well enough alone but I think the covers are a bad call. I personally prefer the way your headlights look over any of the aftermarket housings. Tint your current headlights and throw in led marker lights and HID's and you will be golden my friend. Just my humble opinion.

Right. Don't get the GTS covers. Everyones headlights get scratched (if you drive your truck). I personally hate how the GTS covers look. I think the way your stock headlights look is great. I would invest in the led bulbs and hid kit if i were you. If you are set on having a darker look for your headlights you could have them professionally tinted/smoked or do it yourself. Just my thoughts. The covers seem like money not well spent.

I see, I have buddy that can throw some tint down...Only reason i consider the clip ons is because inspection time they can be removed as tint cannot. I would leave em but im going murdered so isnt it kinda out of place? Well maybe not as im keeping my stock black chrome wheels.

I hear ya. Then the covers may be a good avenue for you. I just don't like how they don't sit perfectly flush and are slightly raised. I'm biased though because I think the nightrunner has the best looking headlight combo with the stock black background. That's just the look I like but you see it every day and I can understand you wanting something different.
