Black05RAM will become famous soon enough
Default DTC P2096 on 05 1500

I was wondering what would be somethings to check to get rid of this code I have already changed the o2 sensor and clear the dtc's but the light stayed off for about a week then came back on. This is what the scanner says when scanned "Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1" Thanks in advance

Check the drivers side engine bank for an exhaust leak.

I just replied to the same thing on another post, I get the same codes on my Dakota, 2005. The way I stop it is fill it up with regular gas that does not have ethanol in it. I do that the light stays off, I put gas with ethanol in it and I get the codes. The good gas is hard to find but I am telling you it is worth it, my gas mileage improves by 3 miles per gallon also, and the truck runs like it is suppose too.
