Default Rust proofing

Hi everyone. Have a 2005 Dodge Ram. Need to rust proof. Local shop will do synthetic for for the bottom (no drip) and some other type of oil rust proof for the rest of the truck. My concern is that I have never done this and if they spray the inside door panels some of the electrical may get damaged. Any thoughts on this.

Also thinking of getting a engine shampoo just to clean up the engine area. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Dyno

Shampoo engine , my vote no don't do it, done wrong you have troble also totally unnecessary.

Undercoat don't worry just do it, with out undercoat you will regret a few years down the road , been there.....
