not really unless u want to put stick on aluminum i saw it on that show trucks looks kinda ugly to me or rhino line the bottom like a two tone then no scratches or dents.. but if u touch it up put on some clear paint protection film its worth the investment its like those screen protecters for ipods and phones once it looks like shit pull it off and it looks brand new

If you not going to be doing much off roading or going down dirt roads much, you could just prep & repaint
If you plan on going off pavement, i would suggest getting a nice Line-X color spray instead of paint & if the bed of the truck is painted, you may want to Line-X it too, they have a lifetime guaranty
website is http://www.line-x.com/

I would use some touch up paint then consider going over the stone chip areas with this 3M product . It works very well . http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...rotection/Film

Some good ideas here for me to consider as well. Nothing but gravel where I work and it's wreaking havoc on my wheel wells/front bumper.

If you have the time my buddy just did his gay man's Cheverlot. {GMC} He went to the parts store and bought a gallon of the line x for $100 and put it on his self. But he said it was a pain in his A$$.

I have an 08 with tires that throw good sized rocks at my truck and my solution was linex to the indention in the door down, all the way around the truck. I also added fender flares, they helped a lot. The linex is more of a permanent solution though and more expensive than the plastic strips
