Default stirrup steps

I am thinking of buying some stirrup steps for my truck. Mopar has a set also there are some universal ones from auto shops. I have only seen a few trucks with them. I am wondering if any of you have had them and what you though of them as far as reliability and sturdiness etc. also any pics would be appreciated.
Thanks

My brother has stirrup steps and they are extremely functional. BUT they dont offer any protection from terrain like nerf bars will if you go mudding. In my opinion, if you are the only one using the truck most of the time 1 pair will be more than enough.

No steps is the way to go! I don't even have steps on my truck. It looks cleaner. Best of all it as free. I like keeping people guessing how i got up in a truck so high.

I was sporting that look for a while, but I realized that I was breaking down the leather on the left side of the seat because I was sliding over it rather than getting off of it. I decided to put nerf bars so my seats will last a bit longer. Plus anyone shorter than 6' had to throw a leg up in the truck to get in.

That's exactly why I got steps for mine.

I had stirrup steps from Westin on my old Blazer and they were beefy, very stable:

Here's a picture of some on an 07. I like them a lot. Very sturdy. I'm 220 lbs and I don't feel any flex at all

I picked up a pair of Mopar stirrup steps today, and I think I now know why they've been on national back-order for a while...the logo on the side now says "RAM" instead of "DODGE". Haven't put them on yet, but they appear to be very well made and sturdy. No drilling, no rivnuts and no special tools needed for install. I got mine from Moparkc.com for $116.33. I'll post a pic when I get them on.
