Default Sport hood scoop mod done !!

They still don't function but I think this makes them stand out a bit more.

Thanks guys.

I should have taken pictures while I did it. The 1/4" aluminum mesh is very hard to find. It's hexagonal so it matches the grill. I wrapped a rag around a orbital sander and used Mothers mag polish to polish it then sprayed 4 coats of clear on the mesh. I used a die grinder with a 1/4" end mill to rough out the scoops and did the finish work with files and sand paper. You will need a good assortment of files and 220 and 320 grit paper. I then trimmed the mesh and a piece of shin black plastic to fit on the back side, over lapping a bit. I use some fast dry epoxy putty to hold them on and sanded the backs after they dried.

All in all, very tedious work.
