Default trailer wiring

i have a 2003 ram 1500 factory trailer wireing. problem is no left turn signal or left brake lite at trailer plugs truck tail lite turn and brake works fine help please

trailer lites right turn and brake lites work fine would there be a seperate fuse for left side

Yup. Dig around in the IPM under the hood and you'll probably find a blown fuse.

just checked all fuses ok any other ideas thanks for your help so far dont know where to go next

Check for power at all trailer plug terminals off the truck.

Then check continuity between the trailer plug and the lights at the back end.

Have you verified that the pin in the trailer connector is OK. Have you checked the connector on the back of trailer connector? Have you checked for power at the connector with a meter or test light or trailer connector tester?
The left turn pin is the one on the extreme left when looking into the connector.....I think it's even labeled on the outside of the cover (if it's OEM).

Are you sure the fuse is good.? Should be Fuse 46 (15A). If yes, when the left signal is on, can you hear a clicking from a relay in the IPM.
If no, you might have a bad relay (unlikely) or a bad FCM (Front Control Module).
If yes....just replace the fuse (46) just to be 100% sure. Else it is likely a wiring issue between the IPM and trailer connector.

i hope im doing this right.... i have a 2003 ram 1500 with factory tow harness truck running lites,brake lites,turn signals and four ways all work fine.......... but at the trailer plugs ie 7 pin---4 prong no left turn or left brake. what should i look for, or simply blow it up....
