Default 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 TRX4 Leveling Questions..

Ive been reading on some threads here that leveing a TRX4 will mess up the suspension....but no one ever said why.... Im thinking of geting a Hell Bent Steel 2.5" leveling kit. the kit comes with the anit-sway bar brackets to return them to there stock location. I plan on running some 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ but you people got me all paraniod bout doing that...Sooo whats so bad about leveing out my truck...

I had no idea they make a 3/4 ton TRX4! Guess who is getting stickers for their bed?

Someone asked this question a while back, but nobody had an answer. There is an explanation in this thread, but it refers to the 1500s:

Ive read that thread, are those problems just related to the 1500? I wish someone with a 2010 2500 would chime in on there leveling experience...

I have been holding off ordering my leveling kit until I can find an answer. I sent a request to skyjacker to ask and I didnt get a response back. I do not think the fact they didnt answer means anything but I do not want to install it, take it in for an alignment to find out I have to take it off and get another alignment once I take it back to the stock level.

Just ordered a leveling kit from KORE. Set me back $399 plus 117 for shipping. Its gonna take a while for it to get here tho...errrr....Works with the TRX4 2500 models. Ill be sure to post pics when it gets installed. I dont expect it anytime soon tho...they said 10-14 day to ship after they get the payment. Oh well im gonna get my exhaust put on tomorrow Cherry Bomb Extreme duals.

IMHO, A lot of companies make leveling kits but only a few make kits that don't screw up your truck. Carli Suspension makes an excellent kit for your truck and you can ask them any questions before you buy it so as not to have any problems after it is installed. Give them a call and pose this same question to them. They will let you know if there will be any problems with what you are trying to achieve with your truck. Here is a pic of their leveling kit. To me it's a bit pricey, but if you want quality with no problems and good customer support then it may be worth it to you to buy it.

You should be able to run a leveling kit on the front of a 2500 trx no problem. As previously stated I would consider either kore or carli if you want to go the spring route. If you want to use a spacer I would contact topguncustomz or rize ind. These company's all make a fine product you cannot go wrong with. Upgrade the shocks (to a dual or tower set up with a nice set of reservoir shocks) and you will have one mean ride!
