Sorry I haven't posted on this thread. Truck looks GREAT! Don't get it all cluttered up with unnecessary accessories (bull bar/cow catcher, mud flaps. etc) That's why you can admire how nice the truck, lift, wheels, and tires all work together, the beauty of it all. LOL

Truck looks awesome. Did you install the lift yourself and if so how difficult was it to do?

I did install all of the lift components. My dad owns a shop so I had all of the tools and a lift to work with. The most difficult part was dropping the front differential and I used a transmission jack to do it. I would imagine it would have been much more difficult with the truck on jacks.

With that being said it went really smooth and he and I finished the lift in about 12 hours. In that time we went to lunch, stopped showered and went home for dinner and worked on several other vehicles coming into the shop while we were there.

The body lift took about 4 to do and it was pretty straight forward. The BDS kit came with longer brake lines and none of the brake relocation brackets in the body lift were needed. Also the body lift was much easier to do than the one on the 2007 I had.

Overall I can't complain about either, other than having to cut the rear bumper for the body lift. You have to notch it to fit over the support bracket.

I finally got some pics from different angles after I washed the truck this morning. I have to run some errands later and might try to find a level spot to snap a couple for those that want to see how unlevel it sits.

I love the truck! I have a 2005 and have a 6" BDS lift on the way. I was thinking about adding a 3 inch body lift in addition to the bds. My truck has the manual shift 4x4. Does yours have manual or dash elec? Im not familiar with the new rams so I had to ask. And if anyone who has manual 4x4 shift and has a body lift, could you give comments on how it works and if you have to cut around shifter to make it shift into 4lo. Thanks and love the step bars on the truck.
