Default Magnaflow=mds friendly

I installed a si/so Magnaflow XL 18" muffler (pn# 13259) on my Ram last night. I wanted to make a thread about the mds worries. I was very concerned about all the drone. Well, I can testify that there is very little to no drone at all. I can tell when it switches to four cylinders but I could tell before, there is no annoying sound at all. I only had the one resinator, I left it on, installed the new 3" muffler, and a 12" long, 3.5" tip. It's not very loud but has a great tone. Honestly at wide open throttle, the cai and exhaust are about the same noise level. I couldn't be happier with it, it's just what I wanted as far as sound, loudness, and hardly no drone. Sorry no video I can do pics if anyone wants em, maybe friday when I get it back from the body shop.

Sound is sweet. I had to disable my MDS on my 07 because it drove me nuts and when it kicked in the muffler sound disappeared and I left a trail of rice. Honestly though the MDS was going in and out so often where I was driving that it drove me nuts, so I either had to shut off the OD or get rid of the MDS.
