Default Help Identifying wire.

I've got this wire hanging down from under the dash, and I have no idea where it goes. I've looked and looked, but nothing. Heres some pics.

Any ideas?

Someone might have wired in some lights, a programmer or some other accessory (power to a CB maybe?) but that's definitely not factory.

Did you find a termination point at the other end? Does it go to the battery or the fuse box?

Looks like a power wire for some accessory. If you are not using it I would remove it @ the soldered area & then shrink tube it there. You wouldn't want a bare power wire.

Yep, someone added that. I would put liquid tape on the soder joint then cap the live end. You may want to use it later.
