Default Power-Folding Mirrors

Am I missing something? I thought power folding mirrors meant that you can hit a button and the mirrors will fold in. Atleast that's what it was on my Nissan I traded in. Only thing I can figure on my Ram is that the mirror is power adjustable and the entire mirror assembly has to be manually folded in.

You figure correctly. Were they billed as power folding?

It may be how you are interpreting what you read.

I looked at my Owners manual and it says,

"Electronic Power Mirrors" and "Exterior Mirror Folding Feature" and they are separate paragraphs in that section.

Does yours specifically say "power folding mirrors" or power/folding mirrors?

I'll have to look again, but I think it says this. I guess I was just interpreting it wrong. Oh well, it won't be the last time I mis-understand something.

I miss this very feature from my escalade... But they do not automatically fold. They are Power Folding Mirrors... Mirrors that are powered and fold. But the fold is manual. As far as I know there are no aftermarket manufacturers that make them for the ram either.
