Default Installed Mufflex...Lost Torque...I Think?

I just installed a new Mufflex 18" Magnaflow muffler on my 2010 Ram Hemi and took it for a test drive...I couldn't do a brake stand burn-out!!?? In fact at idle it won't rev past 3800 rpm. Wierd...with the stock muffler I could light up the rear tires with no problem. The only other mod I have installed is a drop in K&N.

Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

How big is the inlet?

I think it may just need to learn the new additional air in and out.

You could find, in your owners manual, the ECM or PCM fuse and pull it, then put it back in to reset the computer. Then go out and drive it hard so it can "relearn" your driving parameters.

If you want to do a hard reset, pull both battery terminals off and touch them together for a couple seconds.
