Unhappy My Rant...

I hate forums and technology...too much info too quickly. Pics and vids get posted up via laptops with air cards, mobile webs, etc...

Specifically, here I am stuck at home with a bad back and all my PNW LX buddies are having a ball at the Mopar Nationals at the Woodburn dragstrip, 40 miles South of me. And I am seeing those pics and vids being posted today.

Dammit all to hell. I was all signed up and ready to go. I even took Friday off to get ready and participate in the Test 'N Tune that afternoon. I was looking forward to going down, doing some racing, having some fun with my LX buds, partaking of the BBQ, taking pics and videos, breaking my axles and just hanging out.

And then this crap...

The only redeeming factor is that they are having a great time and I am very happy for them, with some exceptions where things have broke (Brad-wbglider). And for those who broke, they have a support system right there, ready to help them on a moments notice. I just wish I was there to help where needed.

sunuvabitch...

Sorry to hear about the back problem. It does suck seeing what you're missing out on, but if it weren't for the tech stuff, you'd be bugging your buddies to find out what you missed and then only be able to imagine it.

Sometimes the behind the scenes support matters most. After all, isn't that what we do here?

Support is good but dang, it would be a lot more fun to be there!

OK, the drugs have kicked in so if I get abusive, just ban me.

Yeah but I'd rather not have to take them. I've resisted for three days and finally broke out a muscle relaxer and a 500mg tab of Vicodin. But I hate taking meds.

Sorry to hear about your back Michael, got my own problems with that, but I know what ya' mean. Kinda how I felt during Gatty, jealous in a good way, but dang if it doesn't suck to have to work ALL the freakin' time!

Thanx, Dana. I'm just so frustrated with this and hate the degradation of my quality of life.
