Hey guys i just ordered my long tube pacesetter headers, and just woundering if ill have any problems bolting them on? are their any mods that need to be done? thanks in advance!

I doubt that you will have to mod anything that serious. You may have to mod the exhaust pipes to fit the long tube headers. You should look at getting some High Flow cats and also a bigger Y pipe. That will just make it flow much better to the actual cat back system. That is just a thought haha.

yeah i thought about the bigger y pipe and all that but i live in California and will probley have to pull the headers off for smog if they see them lol, but i may do it in the future.

If you have cats and a muffler you should be ok no? I know we have E-Tests here in Canada and I just need to make sure I have cats and a muffler and I will pass. I am not sure how it works in Califonia

yeah you have to have everything smog legal! anything you change (intake, header, etc) has to have a carb # or you wont pass trust me ive been threw this with my honda lol but it might be a little different with my truck cuz cops arent looking for modded trucks as much. california sucks for smog and modded vehicals!

i say go to moes get stage 8 bolts LOVe them work great that just me and get a oem gasket for headers trust me

alright well hopfully it wont be too big of a deal. and your gunna hate smog in cali! its best to just show up all stock to avoid problems or if you have an intake it better be carb legal or you wont pass the visual, same with most all other parts, its just bull SH$%.
