Default Ok taking apart a rear differential???

Hello all,

I decided to take apart the rear end of my 2000 with the noise. I found the gears to be in good shape and very little metal shavings. I fifure I am safe to assume that the bearings are bad (I know one bearing seal is bad headed to drive shaft) So I removed the center pin got the shafts out and all 4 central gears. Removed bearing covers on the differential and it wont come out comes part way out and stops. I am a millwright so I know my way around equipment, but I cant see whats holding it in. Any help is appreciated!!!

Thanks Erik

you need to check to see if you have the c clips off of the axle. Pull axle out, back adjusters away from center carrier, and it will come out.
