Default U-Connect issue...

... We have two Samsung R540 cell phones. In spite of them not being listed on Dodge's compatible phone list, they pair with the u-connect system just fine, work fine in placing outgoing calls, but on incoming calls the u-connect system answers the call and them immediately disconnects within about two seconds. Does anyone know of a work-around for this issue, short of going out and purchasing two new phones with a bunch of features that we will never use ?? (incidentally all Dodge, Samsung and cell service provider customer service reps were worse than useless with this issue !!)

Unfortunately the only option is to wait until Uconnect comes out with their new compatibility list. If your phones are on it, then you just need to go to the dealer and have the system flashed.

If the phones are not on it, then you are left with getting new phones that are on it.

As for the system dropping the call, are you sure its the Uconnect that is dropping the call and not the phone itself? I've found keeping the phone on my console makes calling and receiving calls better. It seems all the electronics in the truck really messes with the cell phone's connection to the network.
